Like the Dr. said. I am assuming that you may have followed Kayots guide from the wiki. His is set to use Emu version 845 I belive. Since then the new comment after the start eqlaunch.exe is not zones, but zone. Just take off the s at the end and your good to go on your dynamics. Personaly, I am having troubly with the dynamics not accepting clients and the user getting booted, so I run statics for the time being.

Thanks for all your advise. Everything is working now.

I never knew about that launcher link. I must have been following an older wiki. When I changed the batch file from zones to zone - I was able to execute the launcher link perfectly.

If you have the MySql Query Browser, or something similar - you can view two tables: launcher and launcher_zones. it should be self explanatory once you see them.
The default is either zones or zone with 5 dynamics, you can add, remove or change this.
I also added my static zones here. For example I have made one called "Cities" and is where I add all my starter towns for static.
Table launcher would have an additional entry called "Cities" with "0" for dynamics (since it's static).
Then Launcher_zones would have for example;
(launcher)/(zone)/(port)
Cities / akanon/ 1200

then in my startup I add the new Launcher I created;
"./eqlaunch Cities"
or windows: "start eqlaunch.exe Cities"
This will go in addition to the "start eqlaunch.exe zones"
You can have many groups of zones, and just activate as static as you need them this way.

EDIT:
BTW, MySql Query Browser is a free download at the MySql site.

I acutally was getting dynamic and static wrong. I thought that dynamic was for the launcher, and static zones were using the zone.exe on its own. Never messed with the sql stuff, but now that I know the difference that will be a big help.

Ok this looks like the same exact problem I'm having. For some reason I can't log into the servers html page. For some reason it won't let me log in with anything I've tried (high level account with a password set, maybe I'm doing that wrong though).

I'm still very new to Sql, so I am having problems understanding exactly what I am doing wrong or what to do to fix it. Any further help would be greatly appreciated.
