CoH PvP - Open Beta

I would just like to give a status update for those who are interested.

The server has been locked for several weeks while we finalize some of the newer content and implement PvP rewards. We will be re-opening on Friday the 18th in the evening hours (Central Daylight). There will be a character wipe, but I will be increasing the experience a tad for a day or so.

If anyone is interested in helping us Beta test, we'd love to see you online. This should be a great chance for new players to get started as everyone will once again begin from square one.

well are you going to have another char wipe? i hate lvling so much and getting all the gear thne you wipe it and i gotta start over again.

Unfortunately its a necessary evil that has to be tolerated to form a good PvP server. Its in everyone's best interest.

I agree completely, ESPECIALLY considering its a PVP server. And really, character wipes are good for seperating the wheat from the chaff, the devoted from the fairweather fanbois.

Is there server coming up or? Someone said 18th may and thats yesterday so is it coming up?

I posted a correction on our forums, but it slipped my mind to put it here. I had some RL things come up that would have prevented me from being available for the server reopening, so we're moving it to the 25th.

still says beta on homepage but its the version that we play now live or ? not sure am wanna lvl up a char now and be wiped again, could just wait if thats the case
