Loginserver.ini
### --- This file tells world.exe what loginserver to connect to.
### --- Leave the account and password field BLANK.

### --- Public Login is un-supported as is LAN playing. We reccomend using the EQEmu.net Loginserver ALWAYS.

### --- NOTE: Starting 6-1-2002, you can no longer use the word "Server" in worldname.
### --- NOTE2: the word "Server" is added to each server automaticly.

what does logs/zone say.

in the logs dir, in addition to the "world" log file there is a "zone" log file as well. see what errors are being reported there when you try to zone in. my guess would be some bad database entry, since thats the usual culprit when i get a "zone unavailable" message.

What does your start.bat file say. It looks like you may have missed type something in there. It will be the last line where it says start eqlaunch.exe

Try to change this to zones or zone, whichever one you may not have in there. There is some variances amonst tables in databases and you must change accoridingly. It says the the launcher is unknown because it is trying to check your database for launcher information and the database shows "zone(s)" instead of "zone".

Hope this helps

hey all, I got it working thanks for the replies.
I would have replied sooner but eqemulator was down.

The problem was my start.bat file. i had zone instead of zones.
