not exactly the "need" for shamans, it's just the advantage you gain from having a shaman to buff you. I have a feeling once the highest levels are seen the "need" to have a shaman is not so great for the stats.. Although a haster, slower and healer are always welcome.

Ok, sorry, not the need.

It's pretty much a need before "high lvls". Stats do so much here and shamans are the best at raising them.

Aye , Shamans are Slighty overpowered , just thoughyt druids get a sweet ass spell at 51 , with high Wis that be like 1.5k HOT for 3mins , Which be the Pler for Druids since DS sucks , only likr 40's unless beefed up
