Got the world completely populated, I have found a way to use even the newest database with this old client, This saves me ALOT of work. you can see in the screenshots in my game gallery here GALLERY where I have track up that the zones are full of mobs.

I do not plan on having a playable beta as such, before public release I am going to let a select few (that have allready been selected) try it out for a day or 2 to make sure all is ok and then it will be publicly available.

As for a time frame I am hoping to have this out within a few weeks of my arrival back in England (I leave the US christmas eve.)

As stated before this will be far from perfect but it will be playable with a full mob, item, and loot database.

My wish is that there will be enough people wanting to play and work on this together to get it working to its full potential. I hope that people will share here any fixes and updates that will make it as good as I am sure it can be.

Looking back, there's traffic on this thread every few weeks with more information. I wonder if I could bug you for an update, Sakrateri. I'm definitely interested in contributing to the success of your project Just let me know when I can give it a whirl.

This is the version of EQ that I am using Kunark

You can get that which will work out of the box or if you register on my forums you will be able to get a program that hacks the exe and then be able to use any version you like.

I am about ready to give this out including the EQEMu2.3 with a database sql to source in that is populated up to PoP.

Just doing a little more testing to make sure it is going to work ok for everyone and then it will be available.

The files needed for this can be found on my forums once you register, As I am not sure of the legality of giving programs that hack exe's I am not going to post it here BUT It seems to work with every version of EQ ( even tried with an up to date version and it worked fine) and if you have any version that it does not work with please let me know which one.

The EQEMU server is also available there BUT again, REMEMBER this is in no way a finished product and needs lots of work still, however you can play and kill mobs and see old graphics, spells and mobs. Just Please, Please work together by posting fixes here and I think together this will be a solid working server.

I do not have alot of time right now so i figured it best to give it out to all the smart people here and together with what time we have then it will all come together... Please enjoy
