Router has nothing to do with playing the game unless your running your own server. Then you need to open those ports to the server, not the client.

Nothing wrong with the default directory, but if you overwrote the anniversary edition, that could be a problem. Maybe a left over ini that is causing a problem...Just a thought.

Just so we are clear, the Titanium Version you have is actually on the discs from the Titanium Bundle, not downloaded ?

I bought Anniversary over a year ago, played on Live for a couple months (by that point I didn't have the funds to pay for a monthly subscription anymore), and then I stopped. Found EQEmu, tried to get it to run. Discovered that Anniversary is not compatible. Completely uninstalled it, searched local stores for Titanium. No such luck. So, I went and downloaded it until such a time as I could find it for sale.

Illegal copies of Everquest Titanium are not supported here, sorry. Go buy the retail one. There are posts recommending some places to look for it.

Many people have tried using these illegal copies and we have told them over and over that they don't work. Even if they did, we would not support someone trying to use one. It is breaking the law and discussion of it puts the entire emu project at risk of legal action.

Sorry for the double post, but I need to clarify. Am I supposed to extract the EQEmu files from the downloads page to my EQ directory, or not?

Righto. I was trying to avoid buying it over the internet, though (Bad experiences with online dealers).

The files from this download section are for running an EQEMULATOR SERVER... They would go in their own directory.

If you are just wanting to play, the only thing you have to do is follow this wiki:

http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...akka=PlayGuide

You don't need to do anything other than what is in there. Everything else is for running your own server. Setting up to just play is very simple as long as you are using retail Titanium.
