Default monk atk/ac bug mabie?

i have a player on my server thats reporting low ac/atk at lvl 75 so i asked him to take off all gear incase it was a gear issues. and he did so..

he reports that at lower lvl he has about 1500 atk and about 1300 ac this is geared not buffed for atk and geared with ac buffs for ac..

now at lvl 75 he has a BASE with no gear or buffs ac of 174 and 17 atk completely naked..

something is way wronger there.. anyone know what i can do to fix this..

also not all skills to deal with atk are maxed no aa's

This is a bug with the Titanium Client. Once you go over level 70, the client itself (the game running on your computer) becomes bugged. It will show your attack and AC far lower than it really is, and shows all your skills (1hb and such) far lower than they are. Rest assured, this is only a display problem. On the server itself, your stats and skill are where they should be with your gear. So say you have 2k attack at 70, once you hit 71, it will drop, say to 1300. On the server your attack is still at least 2k, probably higher since you leveled, but your client just shows lower. So it's just a display issue, it doesn't affect the damage you take or the accuracy of your attacks at all.

Hmm, have yet to see that one. Haven't heard of any monks having that problem, but then again, I don't run any servers, just play on em, lol. The #showstats command is correct though, shows serverside information. Probably have to wait for one of the more experienced people around here for an answer though, sorry I couldn't be of much help.

well i figured out the showstat command is showing the right ac bu that atk is showing there bonus not there actually atk so is there a way to see what there actual atk is so i can see if its just a visual glitch. i made a monk to test lvled it up with gear and set its skills and it lvled right the atk and ac went up and up but when he hit 71 it dropped way down.. kinda odd i only found it to do it on monks no other classes have reported it.

well i hope its just a visual bug. if anyone knows how to see there actual atk would be nice to know even if its in the database somewhere..

other then that i guess ill just leave it alone.

i have a suspision it mayby related to skill not been reported properly

for exmaple. in Db skill caps only go as high as 70, when you level to 71- there is no record what what is skill cap suppose to be at lev 71, but default its 0. which results in server (or client?) claculating your ac and atk as if respective skills were in fact 0 (defence, offence, h2h etc)

The entire problem is that the client doesn't understand any levels over 70 for assigning skills and at 71 it rolls your skills (graphical display only) on the client so that you have the max skills of a level 1, and by 75, it is like having the max skills of a level 5. This is for display only, and everything still works as it should.

The client uses these skills to calculate your defense (AC) and your attack. So, since you have the defense and weapons skill of a level 5, it is going to show some messed up stats in your inventory stats screen.

The #showstats is the only way to really tell your true AC for 70+. I still don't know of a way to check the attack, but as far as I can tell it is purely a graphical problem and the server still calculates it as it should.

I really wish there was a fix for this, but other than editing client files, I don't think it is possible. If I ever come up with one, I will be sure to share it though hehe.

The one thing I do know is that a player with #gm on will always show the correct skill levels and AC etc. So, maybe one of the emu coders could figure out a way to use what that command does as an option for all servers with players over 70. As long as they could remove the green name and non-agro part, I think it could work great.
