What part cant you understand? the only reason i can see anyone not understanding this would be if their english wasnt very good.

Here's an exerpt from the readme to show how step by step it is

Quote:
1) Download and install mySQL from http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-3.23.html

2) Copy db.sql from your EQEmu folder to the mySQL bin directory (default is C:\mysql\bin).

3) In your mySQL bin directory, run Winmysqladmin.exe. It should ask you to enter a username and password. Choose a username and password that you can remember because you will need it in Part 4. Do not give the password out to anyone for any reason because with this, anyone can log into your mySQL database and change your data.

Ok sorry, I was reading the wrong readme but i encounterd another problem. I downloaded the 0.3.4 version of eqemu and followed the readme that you provided and it said if you find the message Incorrect version ect. than try running mysql in the background and I did that and all the other suggestions in the readme and i still have that message.

Where do you see the incorrect version error? are you trying to use MiniLogin and you see the error when you log in?

and i dont remember ever writing anything about Incorrect Version error in EQW (i did write about getting the error in world.exe but that has nothing to do with winmysqladmin.exe running).

minilogin is a mini server executable that simulates the full version of the login server. It only supports one account eqemu/eqemu. It is for people who wish to connect to their own server internally.
