There are a bunch of possible suggestions to try in the FAQ in my sig. Running the dual core optimizer isn't the only solution for Dual Core issues, there are other things to consider trying as well.

However, if it is locking up your PC completely, then it may be another issue, as most EQ issues should just cause it to crash out, but not completely lock up your PC. It is possible that you might have a corrupt file somewhere. Or maybe you aren't giving it long enough for it to crash out. I would say try waiting 10 minutes and if it still hasn't done anything, then you know the PC is definitely locked up.

You may have a RAM issue, or it could be corrupted files or a bad hard drive or something. You could try reinstalling EQ Titanium, but make sure to remove the old one and delete the directory completely (or at least rename it) first.

thanks, will try those.

I was wondering if it's ram.. I also turned my sound off and it still happens.

If I have my speakers on, and it locks up, my speakers go BZZTTTRRRR for 1 second and then it locks up.. really weird.

oh well.
