Not even a byte, I re-installed just in case

I have gotten in once or twice now, but I get bounced every time I load a zone (including dying) or sometimes just randomly. Still get the same issue though

It could be a video card driver issue, a RAM issue or maybe even a bandwidth issue. Try running in compatibility mode from the shortcut (as described from the FAQ link to dual core issues). You also probably want to try adjusting your game settings from the screen where you log into EQ at, and make sure to exit it and restart it after making any changes for them to take effect. Also, make sure you aren't running any programs that might be using all of your bandwidth (like torrents or P2P programs).

Everything seems to checkout, I changed it from compatibility 98 to 2000...low and behold, so far, so good!

You may want to try the AMD Optimizer even on a single core. Also, you might want to try disabling the thermal stuff that changes clock rate depending on CPU usage if that applies to you.

Another idea is to maybe try EQ Playnice and see if that helps at all.
