What EQ client are you running? Titanium?

Usually in situations such as this, probably be best to get the dxdiag output to see your computers settings sound card, video card, etc. Also the output in the sub directory 'logs' inside your EverQuest directory. There should be like dbg.txt

To get dxdiag:
Start->Run
Type in 'dxdiag' and press enter.
Click the 'Save all Information' and then save the resulting file.
Paste that info here or on some pastebin site or something.
