I have noticed on my server I am trying to make guards in the MAJOR city kill able for exp,

and it seems that, NO spell will make them hit I even lowered all there resists to -50 ....


I dont understand can someone please help me fix this I want to make guards die to spells, but they wont budge.

1) Check npcspecialattks field. You can read more on this here: http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...SpecialAttacks

2) Try a saner number like 0 instead of -50.

As Secrets mentioned, special attacks are the issue. Many of these guards contain the special attacks B and m. B gives immunity to magic. m means that a magical weapon is required to attack the npc. Special attack symbols ARE case sensitive

Column name is npcspecialattks under npc_types. simply delete the B to remove the immunity. Going to update the link as well to include all current special attacks.
