The login server for SOD seems to be down. Was working last night, but now I get "Error - A timeout occurred".

Titanium client still connects fine.

Yes, it appears my server is unreachable right now. I am investigating.

This isn't working for me. This is what I did can anyone let me know if I'm missing something?
Logged into PEQ with old client and did the setlsinfo.
Logged off.
Changed the eqhost file in sod client to www.tsahosting.net:5999
Launched sod client and tried logging in and get invalid username/password.

You mean the client starts patching? Double check that your shortcut has patchme written after eqgame.exe, outside of any quotes. If you've already downloaded some files you may need to reinstall, I believe a patched version will disconnect after selecting a character.

Also, double check that changes made to your eqhost.txt file actually "stick" after you close off notepad or whatever.

Do you mean that it starts showing the server list properly? If you are using SoD, you need the port number to be 5999. If using Titanium or SoF, you need the port number to be 5998. The eqemulator.net login server does not yet support SoD, which is why the tsahosting.net login server was made available.

If you mean it is doing the Sony update to the client, the eqhost.txt has nothing to do with it at all. What causes it to do the update is if you run EverQuest.exe instead of eqgame.exe. Also, when running eqgame.exe, you have to have a shortcut that has "patchme" as an argument to it or it will not work properly.
