Have you considered dropping no-ip for a real DNS name? Dot TK (
www.dot.tk) is one I use -free DNS names for the asking. They end (of course) in .TK . You can also get free domains that end in .ML (
www.dot.ml). These doman names are under your control. You set the IP address they point to.
The only requirement is that you get at least 25 unique IP hits every 3 months, and they do charge for very short names, (i.e. eq.tk) but the rest are free.
Downside: if your IP address changes and you update your DNS entry, it does take a few minutes to trickle down so that it works again.
