Unsure if you have figured it out but, I will respond with what I know and use.

I run a "personal" server every now and then when I feel like getting into EQ. I have it set up to run publicly, through EQEmu, or offline privately. I also play on P99 every now and then. It's quite easy to copy/paste a few files for whatever tickles my fancy.

With an offline, private server you will need a different batch file and config file in your server folder and an eqhost file, which points to the login server, in your game folder. In your server folder you will also need the compiled login server application.

If you don't have the login server application, it may not be possible to play offline. Someone with more expertise can probably guide you further.

Someone with more expertise can probably guide me further, as I have a question of my own:

What do I need to do to login to my offline local server (LAN) from a different machine?

Thanks
