Instructions say that you need a clean install for this to work.

xampp is not part of this installer.

You are very much correct, I am uninstalling all that stuff as if it were "clean" as close as i can get, I have removed everything ive been able to find manuelly also. The only thing I cant remove is C:\Program Files\MariaDB 10.0, but not sure if that matters.

Any advice on how to correct all the things i installed. Im running this on a windows server 2012. Id like to get this working with out having to do anything crazy, as i do have other servers that run off this blade. I did what i said in previous comment, but it spammed me 1% about perl. so i installed it manuelly to see what would happen, and now we are back to
"MySQL Path not found, please add the path for automatic database upgrading to continue..."

-Edit-
Got everything uninstalled to the best of my abliltiy now. No mysql, no maria, no xaamp, no perl. I run the bat as admin.

That is the repack, not the installer.

Once again, you need a clean install of Windows for this installer. I don't know how else to put that.

If you want to fiddle with your computer doing custom things then follow the windows setup guide.

OK so the it seems you have 2 guides and 2 installers then? I'm just a little confused here. Perhaps a new user account will remedy this? I'm not reinstalling my blades os for obvious reasons.

It's talking about your system path.

Part of the problem is that 'setx' which is a basic binary in C:\Windows\system32\ is not even found in your script, so that part of your path is messed up.

You should not have any instances of mysql in your system path when running the script.

MariaDB installs and it adds MariaDB to the system path during the installation of the script via setx, and if your system can't find setx, your path is also screwed up for where the windows binary for it is stored as well. Which reinforces my clean install comment.

Basically the two following entries need to be present in the path after the installation is done (Bolded)

Code:
C:\Windows\System32>for %a in ("%path:;=";"%") do @echo %~a
C:\Windows\system32
C:\Windows
C:\Windows\System32\Wbem
C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\
C:\ProgramData\Oracle\Java\javapath
C:\Perl\site\bin
