As far as I know, peq should still allow the SoF client since it uses the EQEmu code base - and it still does.


For port, this is your eqhost.txt file.

Titanium and Secrets of Faydwer should be on port 5998.

All newer clients should be on port 5999.


The problem is that SoF and SoD have a lot of opcodes in common - including their login ones.

This is why there are now two ports for clients to log into.


The wrong port could describe the problem that you're experiencing..but, it's not a guarantee the it is the issue.


EDIT: My first EQEmu client was SoF. I'd recommend keeping it since it is only one of two legally obtainable clients that we support.

The port I have is 5998...?

I checked on the ports 5998 This is what is there. I even tried the 5999 port all that did is failed to show ANY servers. I m still in the same boat.
