I once bought Ultima Online without the knowledge that it REQUIRED internet access. I just wanted a fun one-player game, kinda like Diablo. It didn't say anywhere on the box that it required internet access. At the time, I was underage, and unable to agree to the EULA. CompUSA never let me return it once I had opened the box. I don't think those EULAs could ever be binding. ALSO, the EQ people would have to prove that we agreed to them.
On top of that, why would you tell a server GM?? WHO THE HELL IS HE?? He won't do shit against the site. He'll tell his boss, who will fudge the story and tell his boss, who will fudge it again. By the time the right guy hears about it, they won't remember why they hate the site. Timmy, read, learn, whine, but don't blame, and don't be pushy. These guys are DEVELOPERS. That means that they make the server. They don't support it. If you ever learn about corporate coding structures, you RARELY have a coder talking to end-users. How do I know this?? At work, I'm the guy who talks to both coders (guys like Trump) and end-users (guy like you). Why waste a talented coder's time when any schmuck can filter out who needs personal help/guidance and then give the three thousandth rendition of the same goddamn fix over and over again. Trumpcard, Image, and Hogie build the thing. Ask anyone else for help in the areas that it is allowed, and the rest of us will help you. There are more of us than them anyway. So shut your yap, and be nice.
And Christ, bugging an adult on Valentine's day is a BIIIIIIG nono. Would you want us barging into your car (yes car) if you could have a date?
