Debate is the foundation of democracy. I don't agree with these back-country people who don't like to see posts they can't get involved in because they don't know how type correctly.
On the subject here, I agree with both sides of this debate. There will always be people who find enjoyment out of being "uber-l33t" without too much effort. And there are people who are looking for the kind of game they left on EQLive and can't get back to (or don't want to get back to). Most emulator teams know that and cater to both sides, and the EQEmu team is no different. People just need to lighten up and have fun. This is a game, after all.
As for cheaters, well, they're on every EMU, hopefully the project can overcome the flaws they abuse.
