I opted to download the LoY files when initially patching EQ from the live servers prior to setting up EQEmu (& running the EQEmu patcher) & I didn't run across this error.

dmccollum: If all else fails, what I'd suggest you do (assuming you don't want to wait for a version of EQEmu that supports all expansions) is to:
  1. Back-up your entire EQ directory (the live one) (i.e. ZIP it up)
  2. Uninstall EQ
  3. Delete all remaining EQ files (live & the copied directory if you've made one)
  4. Re-install EQ & all expansions (except LoY)
  5. Patch EQ from the live servers (make sure LoY isn't checked)
  6. Do a complete file check
  7. Copy the entire contents of your main EQ directory to one for EQEmu use
  8. Install the EQEmu patcher to the copied directory
  9. Run the patcher
  10. Double-check all your EQEmu configuration files
  11. Try running EQEmu & verify it works
  12. Install LoY to your EQLive directory if you like or just unzip the backup you made there

Sure, this is a long way to go about it, but I tend to prefer to do things from a fresh install perspective if at all possible. If you're on a dial-up connection (like me) then you'll be in for a long haul in patching, but this (IMO) is the best way to insure the files you'll be using for the emulator are correct.
