I opted to download the LoY files when initially patching EQ from the live servers prior to setting up EQEmu (& running the EQEmu patcher) & I didn't run across this error.
dmccollum: If all else fails, what I'd suggest you do (assuming you don't want to wait for a version of EQEmu that supports all expansions) is to:
- Back-up your entire EQ directory (the live one) (i.e. ZIP it up)
- Uninstall EQ
- Delete all remaining EQ files (live & the copied directory if you've made one)
- Re-install EQ & all expansions (except LoY)
- Patch EQ from the live servers (make sure LoY isn't checked)
- Do a complete file check
- Copy the entire contents of your main EQ directory to one for EQEmu use
- Install the EQEmu patcher to the copied directory
- Run the patcher
- Double-check all your EQEmu configuration files
- Try running EQEmu & verify it works
- Install LoY to your EQLive directory if you like or just unzip the backup you made there
Sure, this is a long way to go about it, but I tend to prefer to do things from a fresh install perspective if at all possible. If you're on a dial-up connection (like me) then you'll be in for a long haul in patching, but this (IMO) is the best way to insure the files you'll be using for the emulator are correct.
