Can we finally fix this?

OK, I know it's frustrating, but don't blame the EQEmu devs or anyone else here. As I understand it, the person who wrote the patcher program disappeared some time ago & has not responded to attempts at contacting him. The very best advice I can give is to refer to this post, paying special attention to this statement:

Make sure you have the latest updates to Windows (if running under Windows), including Service Pack 1 if you're running Windows XP. Also make sure you're not running or otherwise behind a firewall or proxy that's blocking the program's access to the Internet.

Other than that, I doubt there's much anyone here can do to help you.
