Default remapping the zones question

Could anyone drop me a line on how to remap zones, i see that remapping the active ones may not be to hard but there is a tunnel in the back of oggok id like to add a zone line and remap to a new dungeoun.

also is there any way to rename a zone?

Unless you mess with the client (eqgame.exe and other files in your everquest folder and all everquest folders of all your clients), you can't add zones. You can redirect zone lines to go to other zones, but you won't add them in an easy way. Also, last I heard, you can't rename zones.

True, I have not been able to change zone names. I was going to make my own game using the EQ stuff, but I was not even able to make zone lines redirect to a different zone. I was trying to make wfreeport zone to the qeynos hills and no matter what I tried, I could not make it do it. If anyone knows how to make this work, I would very much like to find out.
