Need more info. Which compiler are you using? When did you pull from CVS? What version does your server claim to be running? What does the world.exe console display when you try to logon?

If you haven't compiled your own server - eqemu is not ready for your use yet. It is currently only available for developers and you will have to wait until the official 0.5.0 release. That means back to EQLive.
