I've used TCS database back in 4.4 and got the same problem.
If it's caused by a blank it's usually a problem with mysql (database).

Go into EQAdmin and move the character to a different zone (kanors worked for me), or remove the spawns for a starting zone and try that.

Try and pinpoint down the spawns, or problem doing it. It'll be easy but rough work, but really helpful to others with this problem.
