And here i thought I was the only one old enough to remember when "hacker" was a good thing. Then 20/20 did that story.....
The new term is "techie" although "geek" can be embraced as well, in spite of its negative connotations.
It also might be interesting to some, that a recent study showed the jock/muscleman image has fallen in favor with girls/women. It seems many of them are now looking for guys with (are you ready for this?) BRAINS.
