Default Quick question

Quick question. I haven't been able to use EQEmu till 5.0 has been released... The question is before I could create my own server and play on my own server in the same computer. Is this possible still with 5.0? I used the stickyed local area connection FAQ before, not sure if it still applies with 5.0. (fiddling with Mysql, isntalling DBS etc etc). Thanks, and sorry if this question has been asked before.

OK, should have asked this way... is 5.0. able to play EQEmu offline? I have read about having to register a no-ip service and such, and the configuration of the ini files are more complicated than before. I wanted to play EQemu as a single player mode just to play around myself and such.

Ok, configured everything and worked fine... thanks alot everyone. The error which kept me mad was the server name was too short (DOH). Other than that it worked out nicely. Now if Only I can update my database without hearing that beeping for 1hour... (stopped it since it was getting my neighbours nerve because of this noise). --no-beep did not work lol.
