Special Reward for buying the retail version of LDON

Hey everyone. It's been a long time since any of you have heard anything from me. I know. But then again. my isp dosn't like it when you steal internet from them. :P But then again they have to realise that you can always get free intetnet by using a friends account.

But anyways. back to the subject. I'm stuck using a friends intetnet now. damn dialup sucks. well I didn't have the time to download LDON and well got rid of my credit cards so i couldn't pay them for it anyways. So i bought the retail version out at wally world. Well when i got home and opened it there was a keychain in it they called a rune. Oh wow there going to give me a free key chain. figures being that SOE is cheep as fuck. But wait there's more. I don't know what made me do this. because i never read the manuals they send with them anyways. but i decided to read scan through it this time. and there was a chapter in it that said. WAIT -- you still have a nother reward to claim. Well when i was reading through the section it said. Thank you for buying the retail version of LDON instead of downloading it. as a special reward you get this free rune keychain "included in the packaging" But wait we have even more instore for you. as a special reward there is a special item waiting for you for one character on one server only. when you join the game. please choose cairfully which character you want to have this reward because you only get this once. when you join the game type in /claim to claim you special reward. Buy wait. could this item be transformed into somethng new, Unique and powerfull. The rune is the key.

Well i don't know when it will be. because I don't want to waist this reward but Im going to use the packet collector to collect informaction when i claim my prize. and I'll also use the collector again when I figure out this damn key thing and transoform my Item. the book said to go to www.lostdungeonsofnorath.com for more informaction on the rune key thing. but when i checked it out the website i couldnt find shit. It may be because i wasn't loged in to though. who knows. im going to try loging in and searching again in a few min though.

Well thats about all I wanted to say. I was just hopeing to get some replies from people to see what everyone things about this. and to see if anyone else around here has heard anything or knows anything about this to help me out. It would be great if i could get a little help figuring out this key thing too. I could use all they help i can get right now. Hope to here from you all soon.

You should still run the packet collector when claiming the prize tho, I'm sure you'd score major brownie points with the devs.

You should definitely packet collect it.

Who knows, it could probably be used to put in our own "one-time rewards" or something.

I remember reading about this a while back. If after you get the bag you complete a relatively simple quest that requires travelling the world and talking to various NPC's it turns into a whole lot better bag - cant remember the stats right now but I do remember it was pretty nice.

You get a Satchel of Abu Kar 6 slot 25% WR
do an easy quest (look on rpgexpert i know i saw it there) and it turns into Reinforced Satchel of Abu-Kar 8 slot 50% WR

i think it's 50% wr, 10slot, and giant. Not 100% sure about that though

Well dman that sucks. to bad it isn't a weapon or something like that. that would be so much better. I need a weapon thats going to cut someone in half. not something to carry there body parts in after i killl them

Yeh. ITs called Satchel of Abukar or something, but you can upgrade it from a 25%, 8 slot large bag to a 50% 10 slot giant bank.

All you gotta do is hail 4 NPC's.

I bought the expansion....... then found out, you need to buy the "special" expansion, which was purchasing it before it was out.... ghey =(
