Default Free eqemu server box? (UK residents)

Hey, just ran across this site. They are giving away free PCs if you agree to watch 3 min of adverts. every hour. but (I think) if used as a server, you could probably leave it on and not even notice that the ads play. Oh well, I put my name in..

http://www.metronomy.com/

EDIT: pulled a classic newb and didn't read all the terms. I'm not UK resident. :(

running in your closet or whereever?
and if its in explorer, just get another browser or
web/windows.,.. i dont even use exploder, it sukes

and if this hits big, there will be alot of cracks for it aswell ;P

yes, i know, iexplore.exe is the browser..
but u can still download a alt. "explorer.exe"..

and i doubt that they have the source-code to explorer
so they can fill it with ads...
so it will prolly just be a program that runs in the background
that u can crack

5) The principle applicant should be 18 or over, and provide a home telephone number. We will conduct a security check linking you to the address given. Under certain circumstances, you may be requested to provide alternative proof of ID. This offer is restricted to one PC per household, and is only available to UK residents at this time.

For them to go as far as to give away the hardware they would have a better plan than the feeble ones mentioned above. It would be really easy for them to have some custom hardware that forces the adds or even some sort of unique hardware ID that would be sent out when ever you get online and if it shows the adds not running then you pay for the PC. There are lots of clever ways to force you to recieve the adds.

arkaria, but if you have the computer as a server,
that wont really matter now, will it?

If it requires input to prove that you're there, it does matter. What if you have to click "I like this" or type input like "The blue one is cool", then having it as a server is cool until they send you a bill.
