I patched (on purpose) to a backup directory just to see if it broke EQEmu. I could login to my minilogin server and to Guildwars ... Didn't test beyond that. (This was with eqgame patchme ... eqw didn't seem to work).

sooo...
So what am i supposed to do ) Copy all the eq files ? or just copy Everquest file since it has everything inside of it which would take up to 20min hehe.

Hi, just as a tip. It's not a good idea to brag about folks sending you warez(not that I endorse warez to begin with). Even hinting at receiving the files from an unofficial source could likely get you banned.

Agree's with Rex. You were JUST told in earlier post in this thread, DONT ASK FOR FILES, and if you get them, common sense would tell you that you dont run your mouth about getting them. That lets EVERYONE know that you DID in fact get files, which is totally against the rules on this forum, whether you agree with them or not....

That is why I stick to text only support, I TOTALLY ignore pm's asking for files of any kind... I hate that for the people that are NOT morons and really do want to learn, but those few messed it up for all (from me anyhow..)

I patched yesterday and then it didnt work, kept crashing...remembered about eqemu and saw message about not patching....Would eqemu work if I installed every expansion...yet not update everquest.exe?

No, a fresh install won't work. You'll have to wait until they get if fixed for this patch. Sorry :(
