a question about pvp on gw

a quick question.... if you keep killing the same person for easy pvp points and xp ... that is a bannable offense right? if caught.. not saying im doing it... dont take chances

probley so, but killing a person over and over is very rude, if its spawn camping i bet its bannable, not really sure i ahvn't player on GW in a while.

• If Both Players Are in Agreement to Keep On Killing each Other its a bannable Offense. (If it looks like that to us you might get banned also too)
  If its actually legit pvp then Its okay. There is no Bind Camping anymore since when a player dies normally they get sent to nexus.

Well, so everyone knows, this is bannable, because I was banned for it. Good thing we are warned about things that are bannable before we are actually banned... So how is this any different than, say, playing a ranger or pally? Or even an enchanter? I'm just wondering where the cheating line ends and the "acceptable" cheating begins.

Astemus if you were banned, it must have really looked like you two were in agreement - lol If the player you kept on killing went to the gfay spires every single time after you killed him and you waited there - well That sure looks like you two were in agreement just to farm points..

"Don't mean to point fingers, but Space killed Xzenon 12 times back to back, Astemus killed him 15 times, and before that Space killed him 4 more times. I am just wondering how the banning system works, if you can kill someone once every 5 minutes and it not be called point farming then it needs to be looked into. The rule should be for both players, Xzenon had to zone out of the nexus into Astemus 15 times for him to be able to kill him.

Again i apologize for pointing this out Xzenon, i have no problem with you in game, but when 3 people have killed you multiple times over and over and they are now banned i feel you are just as responsible as they are.

Also Astemus's Kill log shows Gesus being killed over and over, Gesus has been banned. Please dont reply and say " oh well Gesus let him kill him 83 times where Xzenon only let him do it 15 times!" 48 of all your total Kills were gotten from Xzenon - you would do 16 kills in a row everyday you wanted to farm him. Have Fun finding another server - I really doubt people would want cheaters such as you. I don't even want to count the number of kills you farmed off Gesus...

Clearly states in the guildwars rules

" Exploiting/Cheating:
Exploiting or cheating is prohibited, any player attempting to speed hack,
memory edit, or use external programs such as MacroQuest or ShowEQ will be
banned from the server without warning. Other exploiting such as PKP (player
kill points) farming by killing another client who is willingly allowing it is
illegal. Using any bugs that are currently possible on the server is also a
bannable offense such as casting spells through walls and shooting bows through
walls. Other exploits may be possible but are still taken as seriously as the
ones mentioned above"

The rules are clearly stated on our forums, also clearly stated when you goto play (you have to agree to them using # commands). there is no excuse for not knowing.

If Image or myself think you have done somthing wrong you are banned.

So the fact that rangers and pallies can avoid 98% of attacks, or the potency of charm doesn't count as abusing a known bug?

I only replied because I was mentioned. I'm not whining, and it's obvious i didn't read the rules before playing. Just think that this person better be jesus himself if he's pointing out other people in an open forum.
