Hey guys, this is Boggles (GM for Frongi) and I have a small solution for the itemshifting/vanishing act that gear does.
Darkblade had this same prob on his server, but its easily resolved (sounds like alot I know, but really its fast)
1. loot item to your inventory (ie. right click it off dead mob so it goes to bags)
2. pick up
old item you are replacing and either A. destroy it or B. put it in bags.
3. Pick up new item out of bags and put directly into slot (ie. do NOT auto equip it by clicking the item in that box)
4. Target self and #save 2 times
I've started doing that and have yet to lose an item except when I've just looted something and I LD or die...using those 4 simple steps, I never lose anything
