Does eqemu eliminate monthly fees? im semi confused lol

Eh im confused. I have purchased EQ but im always broke so im putting it on hold cuz of the monthly fees. Do these servers let u play for free on them without monthly fees (yes i have eq evolutions) or do u still pay and also get to play on unique servers?

Its an emulator. NOT Sony's Servers...

Heh thanks for ur input everyone! i gotta unistall everquest cuz i got the updated version...so hwo do i keep it from patching? usually it does it r ight on start up

not patched installed of the cd wont work ktnx.

i hope you already uninstalled everquest by the time you read this though as punishment for being a retard.

i think eqemu works with live now anyway.. if not use a patcher to patch you to the version you want to play. (theres 2 versions. winters roar and everyelse)

Yeah heh i went under uninstallshield last week and uninstalled it, and i just put the remaining files in the recycling bin, didnt clear some of them. So i do gotta actually install something? thought i just had to chance a log or something?

lol i meant to say change..my bad. Um its installed ok now..had crap on my discs lol. a_Guest03 thats a great guide u have, u can tell if a idiot like me can follow it alright

only thing tho...it says to just let the eq patcher run but i heard that causes recent problems...how should i go about this?

use www.wintersroar.com and there patcher, its the most newb friendly, and the best server your gonna find.

lol doh..well this should b interesting then...its just begining to patch with that winter thing. so is this the server up play on? i had a bst on druzzil ro...not quite sure wat i wanna make now but i c they need warriors and cleric type people so ill keep that in consideration...

guess i do gotta do the live update first...got a error involving lots of squares lol
