This is an issue with the new OPTIONS EQLIVE has implemented . no matter how you set it it sets your eqclient.ini to whatever it wants , you need to go into your everquest folder and find your eqclient.ini and edit that where it says fullscreen mode=" " set the size you want in there and where it says widowed mode= " " and set the size you want there , I guess you want 1024x768 in the quotes , but without the quotes , also it likes to set your refresh rate at numbers your monitor cant handle so check those , set them at 60 if your not sure what it is good at at that resolution, ive had mine set itself to 95 a few times, like to fry my monitor lol anyway hope this helps
