Is there some sort of item editor that makes this easier to do? I mean a item editor that still functions with 6.x of EQEmu and PEQ 058 classic?

PS: How do I link the loot to an NPC? Do I have to target the NPC and use a command to get some sort of ID number or ID name?

Sorry, but I'm new to this and still trying to figure out how to get everything working.
