2. If you take a look at the all the planes of power zones they are much harder than normal zones.

3. Fixed the bug with death/ld bug and the npc hp bug.

Hi I am wondering if this is a problem that is unique to BrightBlade because I have only encountered it there...

I tried to search for this but I couldn't find any posts. This is quite a problem for me and has happened to me many times. I find that while playing on Bright blade I keep crashing everytime I want to return to a zone I have visited before ie: going from North Freeport to West Freeport and then back to North Freeport will cause the game to crash and a error report option to pop up.

Furthermore everytime this crash occurs and I try to reload my character and enter the world, the crash will keep occuring while loading the character into the world causing my character to be unusable.

Everytime I Had to create a new character and start from scratch... is there a resolution?

What is going on? Is there a resolution?

Ps I am a noob and do not know much about EQ. Thanks for your help.

I keep getting the same problem, Error messages or a freeze up when i try logging in on my characters( Deleted my bard 3 times and it seems to rotate between error and freezes.)

and secondly, it sounds like the zone your trying to enter isn't up. In that case, make a newbie character, and use the #movechar command. I tend to move them to butcher. it's almost always up.
Should be #movechar <name> butcher

I have not had the plague that the rest of the posts I have seen here <going ld or crashing>. In fact there has only been two examples I can think of that I have crashed out totally or went ld, and that was when I went to befallen <2 times>.

Two thing, however come to my attention that could be worked on <if there is ANYTHING that needs work>. One of which is the pathing of the spawns. They tend to go through walls to attack you. This would not normally be a problem, except that if you are in a tight area, they dont fully come out of the walls... therefore sometimes you cant target them to attack them as they are on the other side of the wall. Also the fact that it makes the sneaking skill totally useless, if they can see <have aggro towards you> through walls...

The other thing that I suggest, is the spell bug. If you decide to play a caster type of character, you are in for some serious trouble. I am sure you are well aware of how it affects the gameplay by now, but in case you dont know here it is hehe: You can cast spells, but after a couple <or so>, all your spells and skills are un-usable. The system thinks you are still casting, and gives you the message "you cannot use that command right now", or "you have not recovered yet". If this were fixed I dont think any other bug on the server would matter to most folks... It is just that nice of a server.

I for one dont much like semi-legit servers, but I have to say this is one that I play on almost daily <well for the last week or so haha> and probably will continue to play on it. One reason is because I CAN summon uber equipment to destroy everything in the zone, but I can also play it legit only summoning bronze at best and so on...

P.S. there is ONE more thing I guess I forgot until just now, that I feel I should mention. While you can group with other people, the exp and loot for it is VERY buggy at best, and not much worthwhile <at least from my experience>. As I said, I am NOT complaining about anything about this server, and you could almost leave it as is and it would be very fun for a long time to come, but since you asked <smile>!

BB in my opionion is the best semi legit server that there is, I love playing on it, and killing things...As we all know..the spawns should spawn just a little faster... I really enjoy playing on the server, but going LD is a drawback, and about the "Mobs" that just stand there, and you cant con/attack... they are just respawning, like in chardok it is there alot... BB IS THE BEST SEMI LEGIT SERVER THERE IS!!!
