problem with world.exe both self compiled and 5.2 rel

i have the follwing start up files..

The problem is when i run world.exe i get the following error right after " world server listening on: armserver.no-ip.org:9000


Error: LoginServer::Connect: 'TCPconnection::Connect(): connect () failed Error 10060'


Ive checked to make sure name resolution is good for armserver.no-ip.org and checked tracerts to login also...

Anyone wanna give me a clue what im missing??

I am getting the same thing, I was able to start World.exe last night with no problems and I made no changes this morning before starting it up again.

This website shows the login server is up so I am at a loss as to what is going on here.

the servers are down right now no one can play the game hense you couldent login to creat a game to beable to play lol :p

Well since they are going to delete my reply in the other forum, check all the lines of your LoginServer.ini

Any extra "hidden" characters at the end of a line delete them they were what was causing me not to login.

and refer you to thishttp://www.eqemulator.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12417 and also please note that it tells you everything and if you dont understand ill make it simpler sometimes you have to try more then once to connect even tho its working because its trying to make a server so close the program and open agin till it connects
