Default Client Hang Error (Client Disconnect)

Getting the following error in World.exe whenever I try to log into a zone. (The client just hangs)

Code:
Attempting autobootup of freportn (8) for Cheesy
Zoneserver SetZone: localhost:7996 freportn (8)
Enter world: Cheesy: freportn (8)
Zoneserver SetZone: localhost:7996 freportn (8)
Client disconnected
Removing client from ip:192.168.0.2 port:1034
Getting the following in the booted Zone.exe:

Code:
[Status] Weather should change in 13404 seconds
Init: Loading zone lists, zone state or spawn list, player corpses
Zonepoints loaded into memory, timezone data - Done. ZoneID = 8; Time Offset = 0
Couldn't find/read ./cfg/freportn.cfg. (returning -1)
Couldn't find/read ./cfg/freportn.cfg. (returning -1)
Corrupt (or nonexistant) zhdr file ./cfg/freportn.cfg -- fread count = -1 (should be 588)
Using default zone header data...
[Status] Loading Objects from DB...
[Status] Loading Ground Spawns from DB...
[Status] Loading doors for freportn ...
[Status] Done loading doors for freportn ...
[Status] Zone Bootup: freportn (8)
[Status] Zone Shutdown: freportn (8)
I have read the thread in World Building about setting a counter, and that worked for a while but no longer does. I've tried values from 5,000 to 35,000 and every 5,000 inbetween. None work. I tried compiling the __time64 fix in, but it gives an undeclared error for _time64.

Any ideas for a fix? Thanks,

Monrezz

I've not been able to figure out what's causing this but I get exactly the same problem.

I solved this by using the cfg files from the 0.5.2 binary, as they were included with the eqemu package. If not pm me and Ill see if I can find them on my puter and send them to you. (or something older like that). Just put the cfg files in the directory so they can be read, and viola', I no longer have this problem. Dont ask me to explain why, but hey Im not one to complain. Im assuming that having the correct cfg file will not use the default cfg file which may be corrupt and be the cause of your problem.

Yeah, just checked, all the cfg files are in a folder inside of the server folder, and total 79kb or so....

Yes, both comps can login now. Whenever I type a #command in the zone server crashes, but I'm sure that's me compiling the 5.5DR-1 wrong :P

Thanks a bunch!

Got it compiled fine without errors, and perl enabled, and quests work. #commands do not :(

I'll recompile today see if it fixes. Think I compiled the debug :/
