Default Cannot cast spells

I've searched and searched both the forums and wiki for an answer. I've come up with no luck (but I have a hard time finding the jelly in the fridge).

Anyways:
I get this message when I'm in combat:
You cannot cast this spell while in combat.

I get this message when I out of combat:
You cannot cast this spell while out of combat.

What's going on?
So far, I've been able to determine with us on my own server that as long as the client uses the default unmodified spell file - I will not get this error. Any time I edited my spell file I would get this. THEN, as a control, I tried logging onto raid addicts server - I use thier spell file and get the same error. What gives?

I'm using SOF client. Other then this, everything appears to be working fine/correctly as it should in the current development of things.

Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this frusterating issue I'm running across.

You must use a spell file on SoF client that matches exactly with what your server is using. If you edit spells on the server and don't export those changes to a spell file and use that file on your client, you will have issues like this for those spells in most cases.
