Default Moving character from zone to zone?

I tried #movechar <char> <zone> for someone logged in, but it didn't do anything. Is it disabled, or what am I missing here?

#kick them first, it is only an offline command. Since it makes a change in the database, the player will overwrite their location in the database by a routine save when online

I see, the only way I was able to move someone on the fly was I would #zone myself & #summon them to me. Seemed to work.
