Black Screen on windows 11

I am having issues with a black screen trying to load into a server. I downloaded from steam so its RoF. I did all the correct steps that is in the guide on how to connect. I go to select a server to load up and i just get a black screen. I've seen resolution issues in other posts. Not sure why i am not connecting. Maybe its do to being on windows 11? I am not sure. Help would be very nice if anyone has any ideas. Thank you!

Im assuming you did NOT just download that RoF from Steam recently, it wouldn't be compatible with EQEmu.

Otherwise, there was a windows update for a driver, once upon a time, that started using port 9001 (needed to enter world). Check it out on this post:

Yes, the project has slowly migrated the support over there, but they should consider making all these support threads "read only", just for all the references it contains.
