Default Problem with MySql setup and database

Hi,
I'm trying to start my own EQemu server and I'm following the readme.html file. I'm currently stuck at the point where it says to load MySql adn go to the database tab then right click and create a new database. The problem is when I go to the database tab and then right click on any part of the page I get a little pop up menu with three options. Hide, W9x (grayed out), WNT. I select WinNT as it is the only option and there is no Create database. On the left side where it says TEst and Mysql If I right click I get the following options Flush Host, Flush Logs, Flush Tables, Flush Threads.

Has anyone seen this issue before and if so how can I fix it. I am running WinXP Pro with Mysql 3.23.54.

If you have any ansers please let me know.

Thanks
John

You cant create a database with the version you have, using that method. Instead run c:\mysql\bin\mysql.exe and type:
create database eq;
