Yes, so long as you are using a version of eq that you havent patched to live since the last time you used the emulator.
The patcher was meant to patch a copy of Everquest for use with the eqemu once, it was not meant to be used as a permanent patch switcher between EQLIVE and EQEMU.
I warned everyone a month or more ago that something just like this could potentially happen.
The only safe way to play on the eqemu and not worry about something happening is to use 2 seperate EQ versions, one patched for live, and one you patch ONE TIME ONLY to work with eqemu.
The patcher is only necessary once, to patch an existing eq version to the eqemu version. After that, you never need to use it again.
