I dont think its a bad idea... Plus, with White Wolf doing it, they'll flesh out the story line alot, make something interesting out of it.. It might even be enjoyable, EQ does have some pretty cool classes after all..

Ive seen much worse ideas... Like the EQ action figures, this one actually makes some sense to me...

DnD was converted to a computer game, why not the other way around?

what are you CNN? You scoped me with the announcement. I have just finished looking at the site with the SOE, S&S, WW alliance and was gonig to post about it here.

So far it seems that they have licensed the characters, mobs, areas, background stories, and art work. I doubt very much that the same mechanics will be used.

Now I would like to see the same kind of thing happen for a multiuser server/3D client world where the content is licensed and expandable.
