Default New DB being created from PC info......

We are currently working on putting together a completely NEW DB for EqEmu , using information collected from live with packet collector.
It is in it's very early stages , so no ETA available yet , but wanted to let you all know that we ARE working hard to get out a functional , full DB for the EqEmu community to enjoy.
I'll post updates on the progress of the project as soon as I have more information.

 Update #1 : *NEW* (courtesy of scorpious2k) Starting items table (nearly 2mb) , covering virtually every combo of race, class, and diety , and they function very well .
Npc spells assigned by class and functional .
Npc HP assigned at 100 times level , will be adjusted where needed .

Anyone wanting to help out can join irc channel #npcmovDB @irc.eqemulator.net for more information.

I'm curious if you could place a PC in a zone and have it collect all the NPCs movement. Maybe through using programs like ShowEQ which shows the monsters movement.

It could generate the pathing for every npc, grab most of the npc information too.

I'm not sure exactly how much the packetcollector collects, could you throw me a bone?

Packet Collector currently does not collect mob movements. It is certainly feasible and could be worked in - however, I'm too tied up with other things on the emu at the moment to look into it. My goal is to get a stable static world before making it move.

I was thinking of adding this to PC to facilitate world builders with defining "grids" for zones. You'd want to run it in a zone when there are no other PC's around as they can "influence" movement.

Too much on my plate now, tho. I'm sick, kids are sick, wife hates EQ.. You know the drill.
