blackscreen and dissconnections

ok first off i am using dial up...
Is it possible to play on all the emu servers with dial up?
I have played everquest on the soe servers for years on dial up without a problem.
I can't seem to make it into the game it all loads fine when i make a toon and try to enter the world the zone files zone then when it gets to the black screen where i should spawn in game it does nothing sometimes my eq freezes and sometimes i get kicked to the poll screen.
I can still login to normal eq servers without a problem i've tryed just about everything even tryed turning down grahpics to crapy ones and still no luck . =/

So do yall think its my dial up or what?

I did make it into one server once i played for about 45 minutes then went LD and game froze and havn't been able to get back into another emu server since..
