Default quest stops working

for some reason i cannot add anymore quests...im using old ones to test but there not working on new mobs. i dont understand why

Did you restart server?
Did you check quests for errors?
Are NPC ID's correct?

There can be a lot of reasons for the quest not to work. Please share some info : ).

Also, you don't really have to restart server, you can clear PERL memory with an in-game command and then reload the perl. You can execute it or test it.

I run 2 computers, 1 with the emu server and 1 with the client. I change perl quest files in the server; then on client within the game I target the npc that issues the quest I am working on, then type #reloadpl and that will refresh the perl cache with the new perl quest file.

This way I make sure the code works and I can also change all I want quest related without having to reboot the server.
