Hey all,, longtime EQ player (retired) here.
Last time I checked, the Titanium release had broken EqEmu and there wasn't any real indication the project was continuing. Yesterday on a whim I visited this forum and was stunned to see the message, "Titanium Now Supported".
When I'd installed EqEmu a few years ago, it took several days of blood, sweat and tears to get it to run. This time it took longer to install EverQuest than it did to get an EqEmu server up and running. The directions were, for the most part, fantastic. (I ran into two glitches along the way. When I logged in I couldn't move. That got fixed when I read a post by Angelox about using an earlier version of EqEmu that was more stable. The second was a skill bug with characters over 65, but that got fixed when I read that the bug doesn't happen with GM characters.)
Gentlemen, I am in awe of your work. The emulator is incredible. The PEQ database is beautiful (excluding Vex Thal, which is still being worked on). I can't comment on the ax_peq database since I haven't been able to find it, but I'm sure that is equally as impressive. Even the freaking item editor is amazing and simple to use.
If I can figure out some way to help, I will.
