Default Question about possibly editing items

I play on a non-legit server and overheard someone say they had a weapon that had over 1k damage. is it possible to edit your own items or make your own?

You can if you're the server admin, or have access to the DB.

Yes, you can easily edit an item if you have database access or the server has a command to do so. With a generic server build, you must shut everything down and reload so the new items can be inserted into the shared memory.

sure you can #si itemid itemid itemid .. and it will stack the stats... However the game won't really allow a weapon over 255 damage...

Augment slots can take you over that 255 damage cap with damage augments ect..
