Default local server not displayed in server select screen

After switching to the public login and playing on my own server for a while, I switched back to minilogin so my crappy network wouldn't tempt anyone into losing interest in the project once they had a bad experience at my hands. So, this is my problem: I can watch my minilogin terminal window and see clients logging in. On the client computer, login goes quickly, but there are no servers listed in the server select window. I've wrote, re-wrote, cut, and pasted the XML config and login config from a bazillion places. Anyone else had and solved this issue? Thank you.

Default ** Solved **

I can't say this will work for everyone, but it is for me. Something someone said about "variables" in mysql. The I remembered that I get a error when I tried to insert

"INSERT INTO variables (varname, value, information) VALUES ('LoginType', 'Minilogin', 'Set this to Minilogin to login using a minilogin server ');

with an error that I am at the moment unable to reproduce, but I think it said that the variables table or value or something wasn't found. No matter, that string came from http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...kka=MySQLSetup
I am not saying it's wrong, but it is in this value that I have my problem. I used phpmyadmin to look into the database I use for eqemu (peq in my case) under variable "table"(is this the right word?), varname=LoginType value=public. It *SHOULD* be MiniLogin. That is the value that the mysql command listed above should have put in "MiniLogin" instead of "public" I suspect that something else I followed, whether coded incorrectly or I copied it wrong earlier, causes there to be public in that slot. So, for me, changing this value allowed me to see my own server and solve my issue. Good luck to you others trying to set this up!

Thanks! I had the same issue with no servers listed during server select, and also experienced the same MySQL error. I'm going to go try your solution now!
