Default Linux 9.1

I have Linux 9.1 on my computer. I am trying to set up a EQEMU server and don't know what to do with my OS. I have mostly everything figured out with Linux and have read through the instructions on setting up EQEMU on windows, but have no clue what to do on Linux. Could someone please help me or link me to a guide that can help me or something, heh.

Well I hope someone has to time to help me..

thanks,
Dan

I would like to point out, that if you do not know there are many different distributions of linux then you should not be running one.
